Fancy Colored Diamonds
The only problem with colored fancy loose diamonds is that they are too rare. Only a few thousand carats of them are mined every year compared to the millions of carats of white, colorless diamonds. And out of those, most can only be cut into tiny gems weighing just a few points. This is too rare to be considered good candidates for advertisements to the general public, which even DeBeers openly admitted. On the upside, their values are never lost. Throughout the decades, colored fancy diamonds have mostly doubled in price every five years or so.
